God is not finished with you in the middle of growth

Philippians 1:6 reminds you that God is still at work when your growth feels slow, messy, or unfinished.

Growth can feel frustrating when you keep noticing the same weakness, habit, or fear. You may compare your progress with someone else's highlight reel and decide you should be farther along by now. But unfinished does not mean abandoned.

God is not finished with you in the middle of growth.

Today's meditation material (Scripture)

God began the work, and God is able to keep working. That does not make your choices unimportant; it means one bad day is not the whole story. You can practice patience with yourself while still taking your next honest step.

Tiny step (≤2 minutes)

  • Write down one small way God has helped you grow, even if it seems ordinary. Thank him for that evidence instead of demanding instant change.

Prayer (optional)

  • God, thank you that you do not give up on the work you began in me. Help me notice small growth and trust you with what is still unfinished. Amen.
