Your heart deserves a guarded moment before the feed gets loud
Before notifications, opinions, and pressure fill your mind, take one quiet moment to let God help you guard your heart.
Your phone can fill your mind before the day has really started. A post, a group chat, or someone else’s highlight reel can quietly decide what you feel about yourself.
Your heart deserves a guarded moment before the feed gets loud.
“Above all else, guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” — Proverbs 4:23 (read Proverbs 4:23)
Guarding your heart does not mean pretending you are never affected. It means noticing what is shaping you and choosing to bring it to God before it runs the whole day. You can care about people without letting every opinion become your identity.
Try this: Put your phone face down for one minute. Take three slow breaths and pray, “God, help me notice what is shaping my heart today.”
You do not have to absorb every voice. God can help you choose what gets your attention.
