You do not need every answer to ask God for wisdom
When a choice feels bigger than you, God invites you to ask for wisdom and take the next honest step.
Some choices feel too big to make when everyone seems to have an opinion. You may be wondering what to say, which friend to trust, whether to try something new, or how to respond without making things worse.
You do not need every answer to ask God for wisdom.
James writes, “If any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask God” (James 1:5). God is not annoyed by your uncertainty. You can bring Him the messy version of your question—the part you are afraid to say out loud—and ask Him to help you choose what is true, kind, and faithful.
You do not have to solve your whole future today. Ask for wisdom, then take one honest next step. That may be telling the truth, waiting before replying, asking a trusted person for help, or choosing what you know is right even if it is not popular.
For the next two minutes, write down the decision in one sentence. Then pray: “God, give me wisdom for the next step.” Sit quietly and notice the choice that moves you toward truth and love, not panic or pressure.
God can guide you one step at a time.
