Growth can be slow without being absent
You may not see big changes yet, but God is still working in you. Notice one small sign of growth and trust him with the process.
You might look at your faith, your habits, or your reactions and wonder why you are not further along. Maybe you expected to feel different by now.
Growth can be slow without being absent.
Paul trusted God to finish the work he had started in believers: “He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion” (Philippians 1:6). You are not responsible for becoming a whole new person overnight. God is patient, and he is still at work when the change feels small.
Take two minutes today. Write down one quiet sign of growth: a reaction you handled differently, a prayer you remembered, an apology you made, or a good choice no one noticed. Thank God for that small step, then trust him with the next one.
You do not need to see the finished picture to know that God is working.
