Not everything around you deserves a place inside you

Proverbs 4:23 reminds teens to guard their hearts so pressure, noise, and comparison do not shape everything.

An open Bible beside a face-down phone, notebook, and pencil on a tidy desk in soft daylight.
A calm scene for guarding your heart.

A lot of noise wants a vote in your day: group chats, comment sections, rumors, and the mood in the room. If you let all of it in, your heart gets crowded fast.

Proverbs 4:23 says, "Guard your heart above all else, for it determines the course of your life." Read it on Bible.com.

That does not mean acting cold. It means being careful with what you keep replaying, what you laugh at, and what you let shape your choices.
