You do not need polished words to pray
Mark 9:24 reminds teens that Jesus can meet them even when their prayer feels shaky, short, or unfinished.
Some days your prayer starts out messy. You want to believe, but your mind is tired, distracted, and a little scared. That does not make you a fake Christian. It makes you human.
You do not need polished words to pray.
When a father in Mark 9 brought his struggling son to Jesus, he said, “I do believe; help me overcome my unbelief!” (Mark 9:24). Read it on Bible.com.
That is a real prayer. Not fancy. Not cleaned up. Just honest.
If all you can say today is “Jesus, help me,” that still counts. He hears the prayer you wish sounded stronger.
