God stays close when you feel left out

A short Christian meditation for teens about feeling left out and remembering that God stays close to a hurting heart.

A quiet windowsill with earbuds, a folded hoodie, and soft afternoon light.

Being left out can make your brain replay everything.

You wonder if you said something weird. You check your phone again. You act like you do not care, but it still stings.

God stays close when you feel left out.

The Bible says, "The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit" (Psalm 34:18 NIV).

God does not roll His eyes at hurt that feels small to everyone else. He comes near to the real ache inside you.

Feeling left out does not mean you are unwanted by God. It means this is a moment to let Him hold what you cannot fix by refreshing the screen.

What would it feel like to tell God the honest version, not the cleaned-up version?

Tiny step: put your phone face down for one minute. Breathe slowly and tell God, "That hurt. Please stay close to me right now."

Prayer: God, You see the places where I feel unwanted. Stay close to my heart today, and help me remember that I am not alone with this hurt. Amen.
