You can leave the moment before it leads you

When pressure pulls you toward a choice you already know is not good, God can help you take the way out.

You can leave the moment before it leads you

You can leave the moment before it leads you.

Some pressure does not feel dramatic at first. It can look like one more scroll, one joke that crosses the line, one answer copied because everyone else is doing it, or one message you know will make things worse.

You are not weak because temptation shows up. But you also do not have to stay where it can keep steering you.

1 Corinthians 10:13 says, "And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can endure it" (NIV). God does not shame you for needing an exit. He gives you one.

When pressure pulls you toward a choice you already know is not good, God can help you take the way out. Sometimes the way out is closing the app, walking away, asking for help, or choosing silence instead of the comeback.

Where do you need to take the way out today?

Tiny step: Move one temptation farther away for the next two minutes: close the tab, set down the phone, leave the chat, or step into another room.

Prayer: God, thank You for being faithful when I feel pressure. Help me notice the way out and take it before the moment leads me somewhere I do not want to go. Amen.

1 Corinthians 10:13 (NIV)
