You can ask God for wisdom before you answer

When you do not know what to say or do next, God welcomes your honest request for wisdom.

You can ask God for wisdom before you answer

You can ask God for wisdom before you answer.

Some choices do not come with a clear label. A friend asks what you think. A group chat turns messy. A teacher, parent, or coach expects a response, and your brain starts moving faster than your heart can keep up.

You do not have to guess your way through every moment alone.

James 1:5 says, "If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you" (NIV). God is not annoyed when you need help. He gives wisdom generously to people who ask.

When you do not know what to say or do next, God welcomes your honest request for wisdom. You can pause before the reply, the decision, the reaction, or the next step and ask Him to lead you.

Where do you need wisdom before you answer today?

Tiny step: Before one reply or decision today, pause for ten seconds and pray, "God, give me wisdom for this."

Prayer: God, I do not always know what to say or do. Thank You for giving wisdom generously. Slow me down, lead my thoughts, and help my next step honor You. Amen.
