Tomorrow is not yours to carry

You do not need to live in tomorrow's stress before tomorrow even arrives.

Tomorrow is not yours to carry

Tomorrow is not yours to carry.

It is easy to start stressing about stuff that has not even happened yet. The test next week. The conversation you are dreading. The future you cannot control. Your mind can run far ahead of your actual life.

Jesus says, "Do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own" (Matthew 6:34, NIV). That is not Jesus telling you to stop caring. It is Jesus reminding you that God meets you in today, not in the fake future your anxiety keeps building.

You do not get extra strength by panicking early. Peace grows when you hand God the part you cannot see yet.

What future thing has been taking up too much space in your mind lately?

Tiny step: Take one minute and say out loud, "God, I give You tomorrow. Help me be faithful today." Then do the next right thing in front of you.

Prayer: Jesus, my mind runs ahead so fast. Help me trust You with what I cannot control and stay grounded in what You have given me today. Fill me with peace and steady my heart. Amen.

Matthew 6:34 (NIV)
