You Can Take the Next Faithful Step Without Seeing the Whole Future
You do not need a complete plan to move with God today. Psalm 119:105 helps you focus on the next faithful step instead of demanding the whole route.
You may want a complete plan before you move: the right career direction, the right relationship decision, the right answer about what comes next. But asking for the whole route can keep you from taking the step God has already placed in front of you.
God often gives enough light for obedience today, not a full preview of tomorrow.
“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” — Psalm 119:105 (read the passage)
A lamp does not show every mile at once. It helps you see where to place your next foot. You can make a faithful choice without having every outcome secured. You can ask for wisdom, do the honest thing, and leave the unseen part with God.
Today, take two minutes to write down the next right step in one area where you feel stuck. Pray over it, then do the smallest version of that step before the day ends.
You do not need to see the whole future to walk faithfully through today.
Prayer: Lord Jesus, give me enough courage to take the next faithful step. Keep me from demanding tomorrow's light before I obey You today. Amen.
