Discernment Starts With What Love Requires Today
You may not be able to predict the outcome, but you can choose what is true, excellent, and loving in front of you today.
Some decisions feel impossible because you are trying to predict the outcome before you choose. You may be weighing the job, the relationship, the move, or the next conversation—and still not know what comes next.
God cares about the person you are becoming while you discern. You do not need a guaranteed result to practice honesty, patience, courage, and love in the choice directly in front of you.
Today’s meditation material (Scripture)
- Philippians 1:9–10: “And this is my prayer: that your love may abound more and more in knowledge and depth of insight, so that you may be able to discern what is best.”
Notice how love and discernment belong together. Christian wisdom is not only about finding the safest or most impressive option. It grows your ability to recognize what is best—and to choose it with a loving heart.
Ask yourself: What would truth and love require from me today, even before I know the result?
