Your Worth Is Settled Before the Next Reply
A delayed reply can stir up questions about your worth. Scripture gives you a steadier identity before anyone texts back.
A delayed reply can make you question everything: Did I say too much? Am I being rejected? Should I send another message? But another person's response time cannot decide your value.
Your identity is settled before the notification arrives. You belong to God before a date chooses you, a friend understands you, or a person you love texts back.
Today's meditation material (Scripture)
- 1 Peter 2:9: “But you are a chosen people, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, God's special possession, that you may declare the praises of him who called you out of darkness into his wonderful light.”
Peter does not describe you as almost chosen, conditionally valued, or waiting for someone else to confirm your place. In Christ, belonging comes first. That truth can make you honest in relationships without making every reply a verdict.
