You Do Not Have to Compete With the Life God Gave You
Comparison makes your ordinary faithfulness feel small, but God invites you to tend the life and work he has actually placed in front of you.

Comparison turns someone else's highlight reel into a verdict on your ordinary Tuesday. Their promotion, relationship, apartment, or calling can make your own life feel late or invisible.
Galatians 6:4 gives you a different way to look: “Each one should test their own actions.” (Galatians 6:4)
This is not permission to become self-absorbed. It is an invitation to become honest. Your faithfulness is not measured by how impressive your life looks beside someone else's. God has given you real work, real relationships, and real opportunities to love today.

Take two minutes. Put your phone face down. Name one good thing God has entrusted to you, then take the smallest useful step toward caring for it.
Father, free me from measuring my life against other people. Help me notice what you have placed in my hands and do it with a steady, grateful heart. Amen.
