God Is Present in the Unfinished Middle
When your life feels incomplete, God is still at work. Philippians 1:6 gives you a steady hope for the middle—not just the outcome.
Your life may look unfinished right now. The job search is still open. The relationship is still unclear. The habit you wanted to build keeps breaking.
That does not mean God has stepped away. It means you are living in the middle—and God is faithful there, too.
“He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.” — Philippians 1:6
Read Philippians 1:6
Paul does not say God started something and left you to finish it alone. The unfinished parts of your life are not evidence of divine neglect. They are places where His patience is still shaping you.
Today, take two minutes. Write down one thing that feels incomplete. Under it, write: “God is still at work here.” Then breathe slowly and release the demand to solve it all today.
You can be faithful in the middle because God is faithful in the middle.
Lord, meet me in what is unfinished. Give me courage for today and trust for the work You are still doing in me. Amen.
