Let Christ's peace rule the room inside you
Let Christ's peace rule the room inside you
Not every urgent thought deserves a vote.
Some mornings feel like a group chat in your head. One part of you wants to apply, move, text back, quit, commit, explain, or disappear. Another part wants certainty before you take one more step.
Colossians says, "let the peace of God rule in your hearts" (Colossians 3:15).
That word "rule" is stronger than a soft feeling. It means peace gets authority. In Christ, peace is not decoration for a calm life. Peace becomes the umpire when your inner world gets loud.
So today, do not give the loudest fear the final call. Pause long enough to ask what decision can stay under the peace of Jesus.
One tiny step: before answering one message or making one choice, breathe slowly and pray, "Jesus, let Your peace rule here."
Jesus, I do not want fear, pressure, or hurry to lead me. Let Your peace rule the room inside me, and help me move with a quiet heart. Amen.
