Waiting with God is not wasted time

Patience can be an act of faith, not a sign that nothing is happening.

Waiting with God is not wasted time

Waiting with God is not wasted time.

It can feel like life is moving for everyone else. Someone gets the offer. Someone defines the relationship. Someone signs the lease, starts the thing, finds the path.

And you are still waiting.

Scripture does not treat waiting as empty space. It says, "Be still before the Lord and wait patiently for him" (Psalm 37:7).

That kind of waiting is not passive. It is a choice to stay near God while the answer is still unfinished.

You do not have to fill every quiet gap with panic. You do not have to prove that you are okay by rushing into the next available option. Some seasons are not delays to escape. They are places where God teaches you to receive time without fear.

What would change today if you treated this waiting room as a place where God is still with you?

Take two minutes. Put one open decision before God. Breathe slowly and pray: "Lord, help me wait with You, not away from You."

Father, steady my heart in the unfinished places. Keep me close when I want to rush. Teach me patience that trusts Your presence. Amen.
