God gives light for the next step.

When the future feels crowded, you may want God to hand you the full route. The career answer. The relationship clarity. The five-year certainty. The reason this season is taking so long.

But Scripture gives a smaller image: "Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path" (Psalm 119:105).

A lamp does not light the whole city. It lights where your foot is about to land.

That can feel frustrating when you are anxious. But it is also mercy. God is not asking you to solve the rest of your life before breakfast. He is inviting you to obey what is clear today.

What is the next step he has already made plain?

Take two minutes. Name one faithful action you can do today: send the apology, finish the small task, close the app, pray before answering, tell the truth, ask for counsel.

Lord, give me enough light to obey you today. Keep me from demanding the whole map before I take the next step. Amen.
