Bring the unfinished version of you to God
You do not have to be polished before you come close.
Bring the unfinished version of you to God.
Let us then approach God's throne of grace with confidence, so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need. - Hebrews 4:16 (NIV)

Some mornings you know exactly what to pray. Other mornings, you mostly know what is messy.
The unfinished decision. The habit you keep circling back to. The conversation you have been avoiding. The quiet fear that you should be further along by now.
Hebrews does not tell you to clean all of that up before you come to God. It tells you to come with confidence.
Not confidence in your performance. Confidence in His mercy.
Grace is not waiting for the polished version of you. Grace meets you in your time of need, while the need is still real.
What part of your life have you been trying to fix before you bring it to God?
One tiny step (2 minutes): Open your hands and name one unfinished thing out loud to God. Then pray, “Lord, I come for mercy and grace right here.”
Father, I bring You the parts of me that are not finished, impressive, or easy to explain. Meet me with mercy today, and help me take the next faithful step with You. Amen.
