God is still working, even if you feel behind

God is still working, even if you feel behind

God is still working, even if you feel behind.

being confident of this, that he who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus. — Philippians 1:6 (NIV)

Feeling behind can get loud.

You see someone else's engagement, promotion, platform, discipline, or clarity, and suddenly your own life feels late. You start measuring your growth by somebody else's timeline.

Philippians 1:6 pulls you back to a better truth. God started the work in you, and God is committed to finishing it. Your growth is not held together by panic. It is held together by His faithfulness.

That does not mean you stay passive. It means you stop treating pressure like power. You do not need to force yourself into maturity overnight. You can walk with Jesus today, trust Him with the pace, and take the next faithful step.

If God is still working, then you are not disqualified because the process feels slower than you hoped.

One tiny step (≤2 minutes): Put one hand on your chest and pray, "God, keep doing Your work in me." Then read Philippians 1:6 twice, slowly.

Jesus, when comparison makes me feel behind, steady my heart with Your truth. Thank You that You do not abandon the work You begin. Help me trust Your pace and stay faithful in today's small step. Amen.
