Today's grace is enough for today's weight
Today's grace is enough for today's weight.
Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own. — Matthew 6:34 (NIV)

A lot of stress comes from trying to live three days at once. Your body is here, but your mind is already in tomorrow's deadline, next month's decision, or the conversation you have not even had yet.
Jesus brings you back to today. Matthew 6:34 is not telling you to stop caring. It is telling you to stop dragging tomorrow's weight into a day that already needs grace of its own.
God is already in your future, but He gives strength in daily portions. He gives bread for today. Mercy for today. Wisdom for today. When you try to carry everything at once, you end up crushed by moments God never asked you to hold yet.
If your mind feels crowded this morning, come back to what is actually in front of you. Christ will meet you there.
One tiny step (≤2 minutes): Take one slow breath. Open your hands. Name one thing that belongs to tomorrow, then say, "Jesus, I give this back to You. Help me live this day with You."
Jesus, pull me out of anxious rehearsals about the future. Teach me to receive Your grace for this day and trust You with the next one. Keep my heart steady in Your care. Amen.
