Come to Jesus with the tired part of you
You don’t have to power through your exhaustion alone—Jesus invites you to bring it to Him and receive real rest.
Come to Jesus with the tired part of you.
You can be doing “all the right things” and still feel drained: the calendar is full, the phone keeps buzzing, and your mind never really clocks out.
Jesus doesn’t shame you for being weary. He invites you closer.
Today’s meditation material (Scripture)
- Matthew 11:28: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Notice what He offers first: not a productivity hack, not a tougher mindset—rest.
If you’ve been carrying pressure to be impressive, to be fast, to be enough, you can set that weight down for a moment.
Reflection question: What’s the heaviest thing you’re carrying today—and what would it look like to bring it to Jesus instead of bracing yourself alone?
Tiny step (≤2 minutes)
- Sit down and let your shoulders drop.
- Put one hand over your chest and take five slow breaths.
- Read Matthew 11:28 out loud once.
- Whisper: “Jesus, I’m coming to You with my tiredness.”
Prayer (optional)
Jesus, I’m weary in ways I don’t always admit. I bring You the pressure, the fear, and the weight I’ve been carrying. Give me Your rest, and teach me to walk with You today. Amen.
