Nothing can separate you from God's love
Ever feel like you've messed up too much for God to still love you? Like that argument with your parents, that test you bombed, or that secret you're keeping has put you on God's "naughty list"?
Neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39)
That's God's promise to you today. Nothing—not your mistakes, not your doubts, not your fears—can separate you from His love. It's not based on your performance. It's based on His character.
One tiny step: Write down one thing you feel guilty about. Then write "Romans 8:38-39" next to it. That's God's response.
God, thank You that Your love doesn't depend on how good I am. Help me believe that nothing can separate me from Your love today. Amen.
