Your mistakes don’t cancel God’s patience
Your worst moment isn’t the end of God’s love. Here’s one verse, one key line, and one tiny step for today.
Key line: Your mistakes don’t cancel God’s patience.
Today’s Scripture
“The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love.” (Psalm 103:8)
Sometimes you mess up and your brain starts yelling: “God’s done with me.” “I blew it.” “I’m not the kind of person He helps.”
But Psalm 103:8 says God is slow to anger. That means He’s not sitting there waiting to dunk on you. He’s patient. He’s steady.
God’s love isn’t a phone battery that dies because you used it too much. His steadfast love doesn’t run out.
Tiny step (≤2 minutes)
Write (or type) this sentence and don’t argue with it:
“God is patient with me today.”
Then add one honest line: “God, I need help with ______.”
Short prayer
God, I feel ashamed about what I did. Thank You that You’re merciful and patient. Help me turn back to You instead of hiding. Amen.
