God can renew you when you’re tired
Feeling drained doesn’t mean you’re failing. God offers real strength as you wait on Him—today: one small reset and a short prayer.
Key line: Being tired isn’t shameful—God can refill you.
Some days you’re not “lazy.” You’re just drained—mentally, emotionally, spiritually. And when you feel behind, it’s easy to start talking to yourself like a bully: “Why can’t I handle what everyone else handles?”
Isaiah 40:31 doesn’t say God only helps the strong. It says He renews strength for people who wait for Him. Waiting isn’t doing nothing—it’s choosing God as your source instead of panic.
Today’s meditation material (Scripture)
- Isaiah 40:31 (NIV): “But those who hope in the LORD will renew their strength. They will soar on wings like eagles; they will run and not grow weary, they will walk and not be faint.”
One reflection question:
- Where am I trying to power through today without letting God meet me in it?
Tiny step (≤2 minutes)
- Put your phone face down.
- Take 5 slow breaths.
- On each inhale, whisper: “Lord, I hope in You.”
- On each exhale, whisper: “Renew my strength.”
That’s it. Don’t “fix your whole life.” Just reconnect to your Source.
Prayer
- Father, You see how tired I am. I’m done pretending I’m fine. Teach me to hope in You today. Renew my strength—my mind, my body, and my heart. Help me take the next step with You. Amen.
