Do it for God, not for likes
When no one’s watching, God still sees. Today: do one small task with your whole heart—like it’s for Jesus.
Some days it feels like your effort only matters if someone notices.
But God isn’t impressed by a highlight reel. He cares about who you are when nobody’s clapping.
Key line
Do the next right thing like it’s for Jesus—even if it’s invisible.
Today’s meditation material (Scripture)
- Colossians 3:23: “Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord…”
One reflection question
What’s one “small” responsibility you’ve been treating like it doesn’t matter?
Tiny step (≤2 minutes)
Pick one task you’ve been avoiding (replying to a message, putting away clothes, starting homework).
Set a 2-minute timer, and do it with your whole heart—no multitasking, no complaining. Just: “God, I’m doing this for You.”
Prayer
Jesus, You see me when I feel unseen. Help me do what’s in front of me with a clean heart. Free me from chasing likes, and teach me to live for Your smile. Amen.
